My awesome friend, The Creative Princess, revealed this tip to a couple of us at a birthday party.
Simply spread your chips on a baking sheet (I prefer foil lined so I don’t have to wash the pan) & heat at 325 degrees for 5-7 minutes! Then, PRESTO, fresh crunchy chips!
Do you know how many bags of chips I’ve thrown out because someone (never me!) left them open.
I also tried this on some Nacho Cheese Doritos. It worked, but they heat up quickly. This means they also burn quickly. Have you ever smelled burned Doritos?! Blech. If you are doing flavored chips, I would do 5 minutes max. & eat them within an hour or so. They will stale back up if you let them cool too long.
